„We are currently verifying this information as a matter of urgency,” stated Foreign Ministry spokesman Paweł Wroński, highlighting efforts to gain clarity from Israeli authorities on the incident that led to the suspension of WCK’s humanitarian operations in Gaza.

The tragedy has prompted the Polish government to reiterate its call for the humane conduct of the conflict, emphasizing the protection of civilians and the support for cease-fire initiatives.

As discussions about diplomatic responses unfold, Wroński indicated that a meeting with Israeli Ambassador to Poland Yacov Livne is being arranged.

„We will be making decisions, when those decisions are made, I will inform you about it immediately,” he assured.
