Zelensky urges Ukrainians to stay vigilant ahead of Independence Day

In his nightly address, Zelensky said that „this week Russia could try to do something particularly ugly, something particularly vicious.”
Wednesday’s Independence Day marks 31 years of independence from Soviet rule, but also six months since Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine began.
Ukrainians must not allow Moscow to „spread despondency and fear” ahead of the August 24 events, Zelensky said on Saturday.
