Housing Minister doesn’t believe there is a housing emergency

Speaking during a head to head debate with Sinn Féin Housing Spokesperson Eoin Ó Broin this week, Housing Minister Darragh O’Brien said he doesn’t believe there is a housing crisis.

Eoin Ó Broin said the housing situation is an absolute catastrophe and the Minister has simply not been taking it seriously.

Older people should be able to be cared for in their own home

Sinn Féin used it’s Private Members’ Time in the Dáil this week to call for a homecare plans that includes sufficient investment to ensure older people can be cared for in their own homes.
