The three-day trade mission from the Netherlands primarily consists of companies in the sustainable mobility/electric vehicles sector and metal processing.

While in Warsaw they participated in a Polish-Dutch Business Forum where discussions focused on nearshoring and manufacturing, agri-tech and smart mobility.

„We are here with a group of some 30 Dutch businesses that are looking to do business in Poland,” Paul Verlinden, secretary for international business at Royal Metaalunie, a Dutch trade organisation for SMEs in the metal industry, told Radio Poland’s Danuta Isler.

„And it could be anything: exports; some companies are looking for production here,” he said. „We also get a lot of requests from companies which ask us to help because they want to bring some of their production they have in Asia, mainly in China, back to Europe.”
