Poland stands in solidarity against Russian cyberattacks

„Poland expresses full solidarity with Germany and the Czech Republic in connection with the hostile cyber campaign against their political parties and democratic institutions,” the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed in a statement on Saturday.
State news agency PAP reported that the German Minister of Foreign Affairs, Annalena Baerbock, recently unveiled findings implicating Russian military intelligence in a cyberattack targeting the leadership of the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD).
Investigations overseen by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs unveiled the handiwork of the Advanced Persistent Threat 28 group, operating under the auspices of the Russian military intelligence GRU. Simultaneously, the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs disclosed cyber assaults on Czech institutions attributed to a group with ties to the GRU.
