Gaude Polonia aims to foster cultural cooperation and build mutual understanding between Poland and its eastern neighbours.
Scholarship recipients work on individual projects under the mentorship of leading Polish artists and institutions in major cultural centres across the country.
The six-month residency is also intended to immerse participants in contemporary Polish culture.
To qualify, applicants must be citizens and permanent residents of Ukraine, Belarus or other Central and Eastern European or post-Soviet countries. They must hold a university degree and have a basic command of Polish.
Applications are now open for the 25th edition of the programme.
