Golden Frogs awarded at EnergaCamerimage 2024: Full list of winners
The main competition’s top prize was granted to Michał Dymek for his cinematography in 'The Girl with a Needle’, directed by Magnus von Horn.

At the EnergaCamerimage Festival’s final gala in Toruń, located about 200 kilometers northwest of Warsaw, cinematographers were awarded Golden Frogs in nine categories.
Among the 12 films in the main competition, the Golden Frog was awarded to Michał Dymek for his cinematography in The Girl with a Needle.

Other winners included Lola Crawley for The Brutalist (Silver Frog), Paul Guilhaume for Emilia Pérez (Bronze Frog), and Martin Gschlacht for The Devil’s Bath (FIPRESCI Prize).
Gold Frogs were also awarded in several categories: Todd Martin for Tatami in the Best Cinematography Debut competition, Sandhya Suri for Santosh (Best Directorial Debut), Rodrigo Prieto for the music video Fortnight by Taylor Swift, and Robert Elswit for Ripley: A Hard Man to Find (Best TV Series).

J. Daniel Zúñiga won the Golden Frog in the Short Documentary Films competition for Shotplayer, directed by Sam Shainberg.
Piotr Soboński Jr. won the Golden Frog in the Polish Films competition for Scarborn, directed by Paweł Maślona.
Tin Brendel, from the Łódź Film School, received the Golden Tadpole for Orchid, directed by himself.
The Audience Award at EnergaCamerimage 2024 went to Tatami, with cinematography by Todd Martin.
Special honors included a Lifetime Achievement recognition for Ed Lachman, an Outstanding Achievement in Documentary Cinema distinction for Gianfranco Rosi, an Editing prize for William Goldenberg, and a Special Set Design accolade for Nathan Crowley.
During the final ceremony, the event featured Mexican Mariachi bands playing lively Latin rhythms, bringing a warm touch of music to the chilly late November evening in Poland.
