Polish economy grew 3.4% in Q1 2026: flash estimate
The Polish economy grew 3.4 percent in the first quarter of this year, after expanding 4.1 percent in the final quarter of 2025, the country’s statistics office said on Thursday in a flash estimate.

The figure was below a consensus forecast of 3.6 percent by economists polled by state news agency PAP.
The Polish statistics office is expected to report full first-quarter data on June 1.
Poland’s gross domestic product expanded by 3.8 percent in the third quarter of 2025, according to Statistics Poland.
In 2025 as a whole, the Polish economy grew 3.6 percent, after expanding by 3 percent in 2024, according to an estimate released by Statistics Poland at the end of January.
Poland’s president in January signed the country’s 2026 budget, which expects the economy to grow 3.5 percent this year.
