Polish astronaut shares space science progress with students

The Ax-4 crew, which includes Polish astronaut Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski, held a live call with Axiom Space’s chief scientist, to discuss progress on pioneering research that could accelerate innovation and advanced technologies back on Earth.

Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski, or “Suave,” as he is called by his fellow crew members, has continued his outreach efforts with students in Poland.
During several live events, he shared insights about his journey to becoming an astronaut, offered a glimpse into daily life aboard the space station, and led a hands-on STEM demonstration designed to spark curiosity and excitement about science and space.
The scientist also explained that the experiments he is contributing to on the International Space Station span fields including human sciences, engineering, and physics.
According to the Polish Space Agency (POLSA), the completion status of the 13 Polish-devised experiments currently stands at 87%.
