As announced on Tuesday in Łódź, central Poland, by WOŚP founder Jurek Owsiak, the campaign will raise funds to improve diagnostics and treatment for young patients with gastroenterological conditions.
The initiative will also tackle nutrition-related disorders, including obesity, anorexia, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, pancreatitis, and chronic liver and intestinal illnesses. Next year’s slogan will be “Healthy bellies for our children.”
According to the foundation, the campaign aims to support around 1.2 to 1.5 million children affected by these conditions.

Registration for local volunteer hubs has already opened and will continue until 17 November. Nearly 1,700 local centers and about 120,000 volunteers across Poland and abroad are expected to take part.
Funds raised will go toward purchasing state-of-the-art medical equipment for hospitals.
At the announcement event, the charity also donated 38 specially adapted vehicles to hospices caring for children with cancer and blood diseases – part of the proceeds from last year’s campaign.
