Poland’s Maja Klejda wins Miss World Europe 2025 and places third globally

Maja Klejda, a native of Łęczna – a town of 17,500 residents in eastern Poland – reached the final stages of this year’s Miss World pageant, which was held in India.

The Polish contestant, who previously won the Miss Polonia 2024 title, competed last Saturday in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, for the title of the most beautiful woman in the world, going up against a hundred contestants from around the globe.
Maja Klejda takes third place at Miss World 2025 in India
After making it to the final round, Maja Klejda ultimately finished in third place, earning the title of second runner-up for Miss World 2025. In the competition for Miss World Europe 2025, she surpassed the representative from Ukraine.
The Polish beauty impressed the jury in part with a lime-colored gown with a train, designed by young Polish fashion designer Emil Wieczorek, who in recent years has worked on the popular Polish TV show Dancing with the Stars.

Maja Klejda holds a degree in psychology from the University of Warsaw and has been actively involved for years in helping children and teenagers at risk of social exclusion and mental health challenges. She is passionate about traditional Polish folk dance and spent 11 years as a member of The Song and Dance Ensemble Lublin.
