Poland’s justice minister to lead probe into possible Polish links to Epstein case
Poland’s Minister of Justice, Waldemar Żurek, has announced that he will oversee a special investigative team examining potential Polish connections to a sex trafficking scandal involving the late US financier Jeffrey Epstein.

Żurek shared the update via social media, stating that he will lead the initiative as Attorney General, acting on instructions from Prime Minister Donald Tusk.
The analytical team will consist of carefully chosen experts tasked with scrutinising evidence suggesting that recruitment by Jeffrey Epstein and his associates may have involved individuals from Poland, including minors.
The politician emphasised that the investigation will be conducted with full determination, involving prosecutors, police, and intelligence services, and, if necessary, in cooperation with the US Department of Justice.
“There will be no impunity. If the analysis provides grounds to launch a formal investigation, those involved will be prosecuted, and we will keep the public informed about findings that can be disclosed,” he added.
