Pollster CBOS said trust in the president increased by 2 percentage points compared with a similar survey a month earlier.
At the same time, 35 percent of respondents said they did not trust Duda, down from 38 percent the previous month, Polish state news agency PAP reported on Friday.
Far-right leader Sławomir Mentzen, who finished third in the first round of Poland’s presidential election in May, was named the second-most trusted politician in the country, with 47 percent of those surveyed saying they have confidence in him.
President-elect Karol Nawrocki, who is set to succeed Duda as head of state next month, came in third, with 46 percent, the CBOS poll found.
Warsaw Mayor Rafał Trzaskowski, who narrowly lost the June 1 presidential runoff to Nawrocki, finished fourth, with 44 percent, ahead of Lower-house Speaker Szymon Hołownia in fifth place, with 41 percent.
Meanwhile, opposition leader Jarosław Kaczyński and Prime Minister Donald Tusk are the most distrusted politicians in the country, according to the survey.
Fifty-six percent of respondents said they distrusted Kaczyński, while 52 percent expressed distrust in Tusk, CBOS reported.
The survey was carried out from June 5 to 15 on a sample of 971 respondents.
