Paweł Szefernaker, Nawrocki’s chief of staff, announced the date after the president met with Prime Minister Donald Tusk to discuss Poland’s stance ahead of Friday’s talks in Alaska between US President Donald Trump and Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
Szefernaker said the Cabinet Council meeting, first announced by Nawrocki in his inauguration address last week, would focus on „the state of public finances, the political system and development policy.”
The president also wants to address the future of legislative proposals he has submitted to parliament, according to Szefernaker.
An official invitation to the Tusk government will be sent next week, Szefernaker told reporters.
