But one in four say they lack the time to eat healthy meals.

The study, entitled „Poles’ eating habits,” was carried last month by the SW Research company for retailer Tesco Polska.

To the delight of dietitians, the number of Poles who say they reach for fruit and vegetables and as a snack between meals has risen, state news agency PAP reported.

It added that 8 percent of Poles decide what to eat based on how attractive food looks.

Poles attach more importance to healthy eating as they get older, PAP reported.
