Polish Senate speaker drums up business in Florida, US
Polish Senate speaker Tomasz Grodzki on Friday discussed business partnership between Poland and the US, during his visit to Miami.
“The talks focused on economic cooperation between Poland and the United States, especially Florida,” the Polish Senate said in a statement.
It added that Grodzki, accompanied by a delegation of Polish Senators also met businessman associated with the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce, and World Trade Centre Miami, to discuss “economic partnership” and “development opportunities”.
While in Miami on Friday, Grodzki also met Jose “Pepe” Diaz, who serves as the Chairman of the Miami-Dade Board of County Commissioners, as well as local community leaders.
A day earlier, he met representatives of the Florida International University.
According to the statement, on Saturday, the Senate speaker is to take part in the 60 Million Congress, an event bringing together the Polish community in the US.
