Poland, US to team up on COVID-19 research
Poland’s Medical Research Agency (ABM) says it has already launched projects to help develop a coronavirus vaccine in partnership with international researchers.
“We want Poles to have access to it as soon as possible so all citizens could get inoculated quickly,” said the agency’s head, Radosław Sierpiński.
He added: “I hope that the joint effort at a global level produces an effective vaccine that will be made available within a year. Polish researchers have already joined this effort.”
