Poland to shell out billions on ring roads

Poland’s government plans to shell out billions to build 100 new ring roads across the country by 2030, Infrastructure Minister Andrzej Adamczyk has announced.

The move aims to boost economic growth in regions nationwide.

“Poles have the right to live in towns free from road congestion and from the stench of fumes and noise that go along with traffic,” Adamczyk said at the weekend.

“Poles deserve to drive on safe, quality roads,” he added.
