Caspian Hope – Written By Stephen Fahey. Part 16

As my boys shifted around and bedded down my five recruits stepped forward.

“Gentlemen, there is a settlement about a mile and a half east of here and we’re going there now to liberate some of their boats. We’ll use stealth and the element of surprise and once we’ve taken what we need we will hide the boats in the forest before we depart tomorrow at dusk. Estimates are two dozen men and boys are onsite and we expect them all to be armed – we all know how the Kazakhs like their firepower. We’ll take the dinghy out but we’ll have to swim the final hundred or so yards. Once we get to the jetties we’re gonna take all the boats so they can’t give chase, but we’ll set half of them adrift. Any questions?”

Silence.

“Thank you, Gentlemen. Get ready, we meet back here in five.”

To be continued…
